Danaame Ministries
In their Native Hydia Language, which is the tribal language specifically spoken only by the people of Hosanna, Ethiopia... the word Danaame means Beautiful One. This is who these women are and learning to see themselves as through the opportunities that you are helping provide them with.
Each scarf is named after one of the women who we are honored to work with and humbled to see these Beautiful Ones become who God created them to be.

Meet the heroins and talented women of the Danaame Training Center.
Zewede is 39 years old. She has 2 boys ages 12, and 17. She has been with us in the Bible Study Program for 6 years now.
Lonso is 39 years old. She has 3 children ages 12, 14, and 20. She has been a part of our BIble Study Program for 6 years.
Alemaz is 39 years old she has 3 children an 2 year old boy, 7 year old girl and a 12 year old girl.
Mehalet is age 27 and has 2 children an 8 year old boy and a 10 year old girl. She is HIV Positive and alone raising 2 children. She has been a part of the program for 6 years.
Sheta is age 35 she i raising 4 children on he town a 1 year old girl, 3 year old boy, 10 year old boy and a 14 year old girl. She has been in the Bible Study Program and off the streets for 4 years.
Tenaye is age 20 and has a 1 year old boy.
Senait is age 27. She has a remarkable story as all the women do. She was left by her husband because she could not have children. She brought in two children that were abandoned by a family member their ages are 6 year old girl and 9 year old boy. Her hearts desire has always been to have a baby. Just a week prior to us coming in Novemeber, she found a new born baby in the forest. She was a gift to this baby and this baby a gift her her. She was so beautiful to watch care for him.
Aster is 28 years old. She has no family.
Marta is 29 years old. She has 2 children. A 4 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. She has been fateful being int he program for 4 years. 
Adanech Is 29 years old
and has 2 children. A 15 year old boy and 14 year old girl. She has been in the program since it started 6 years ago.
Aberash is 29 years old she is raising 3 girls on her own. their ages are 3,6, and 9. She has been a part of the program for 6 years. 
Beletu is 23 years old she has 2 boys ages 1 and 4. She has been in the program for 4 years. 
Meselech is age 30 and has 2 children.
She has a boy age 12, and a girl age 14. She has been in the program for 4 years.
Amesale has no children or husband she is only 20 years old, and has been in the program for 5 years.
Ajebush is age 22 she has 2 children a little girl who is 1 1/2 years old and a 5 year old boy. She also has been a part of the program since it started 6 years ago.
Workers
Getesu is the Weaving Instructor- he was a gift and God send to this Ministry. A very loving and Godly man who is such a good presence with of how a man is suppose to treat a women. These women have not had this in their lives and its a great piece to their healing.
